What to Expect from Our Service
Online consultations are scheduled at a time that suits you and typically last 60 minutes with your chosen psychiatrist. After the session, you’ll receive a detailed report or letter outlining:
-
A formal diagnostic opinion.
-
Personalised recommendations.
-
A collaborative treatment plan.
Different assessment options include:
Follow-up Psychiatric Appointment (60-minutes): Our 60-minute follow-up psychiatric consultation is designed to provide ongoing support tailored to your needs. During this session, your psychiatrist will review your progress, address any concerns, and adjust your treatment plan as necessary. This may include refining medication prescriptions, exploring therapeutic options, or discussing next steps to ensure optimal care
Clinical Second Opinions (90 minutes): For Children/Young People and Adults. Clinical second opinions are completed by our Psychiatrist and we can offer experts in Forensic, General Adult, Child and Adolescent Mental Health diagnoses
Initial Psychiatric Appointment (90 minutes): There are several reasons why you might seek the support of a Psychiatrist. In general, a Psychiatrist focuses on diagnosis of mental illnesses and the symptoms they cause, helping you to understand what you are going through and find ways to manage, reduce or even remove the negative effects it’s having on your life. Some mental conditions, are usually treated through use of medication. Others can respond well to psychological interventions. Often, your psychiatrist will recommend a combination of treatments or further interventions/assessments to help you manage your condition
